Brussels Sprouts with Walnuts and Capers

 

Prep time:                         5 minutes

Cooking time:          10 minutes

Yields:                         4 people

 

Ingredients: 

1/2 Serrano chile seeded and minced
1 1/2 tsp honey
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tbsp EVOO
1/2 lb brussels sprouts, quartered
1 tbsp capers
1/4 cup walnut pieces

 

Directions: 

In saute pan steam brussels sprouts with 1/2 cup water. When tender and water has evaporated add 1 tbsp olive oil, cook until just starting to get color about 10 minutes. Add capers and cook for 1 min. Add dressing and toasted walnut pieces.
