BB Brownies

 

Prep time:                            10 minutes

Cooking time:                    15 minutes

Yields:                            16 people

 

Ingredients: 

12 pitted dates
1/4 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup cooked black beans
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 tbsp coffee (I prefer hazelnut Creme)
1 cup ground walnuts (optional)

 

Directions: 

If using ground walnuts, grind the walnuts in Vitamix. Once ground pour them in a 9" square baking dish to create a thin crust. 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In Vitamix blend dates and water to for a paste. Add the vanilla, black beans, cocoa powder and coffee and blend until it forms a smooth and thick paste. Spread in the baking dish and cover with aluminium foil. Place the brownies in the oven and cook for 15 minutes. Let cool and place in fridge for at least an hour before cutting. These are very fudgy brownies and your friends won't even realize their healthy. 

Notes: 

The longer they sit the fudgier they become.
