Buttermilk Ranch

Yields:                          8 people

 

Ingredients: 

1/4 cup milk + 1 tsp white vinegar = buttermilk
1/8 cup sour cream, mayonnaise, cream cheese or chia gel
1/4 tsp dry dill
1 tbsp parsley
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp onion powder/chives/fresh onion

Optional: smoked paprika or chipotle

 

Directions: 

Add vinegar to milk and whisk, you will see the milk get thick. Let sit 5 minutes. Add milk to sour cream and whisk to incorporate. Add other spices and let sit for a few minutes so the flavors infuse the longer you let it sit the more intense the flavors will become. Any risidual can be put in the refrigerator for future use.
