Buffalo Coins


Prep time:                      5 minutes

Cooking time:             7 minutes

Yields:                              2 people



10 Hakurei turnips
1/4 cup of your favorite red pepper sauce (Frank's, tabassco, Sriracha)
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp worchestershire sauce
1/4 tsp celery powder
1/8 tsp/ pinch of garlic powder
1 tbsp of bleu cheese or feta



Cut greens off the turnips and set aside. Slice the turnips into 1/4" coins. Place the first 7 ingredients in a saute pan over medium heat, cover and cook for 5-7 minutes. The turnips should just start to become translucent and the sauce should start to thicken. Rough chop the Hakurei greens and place on plate as a bed for the buffalo coins. Top with bleu cheese or feta. Garnish with celery and a cold drink.
